{"id":5588,"date":"2021-03-03T11:50:28","date_gmt":"2021-03-03T18:50:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bornfitness.com\/?p=5588"},"modified":"2021-03-03T16:27:06","modified_gmt":"2021-03-03T23:27:06","slug":"garlic-lemon-pasta-salad-with-seared-scallops","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bornfitness.com\/garlic-lemon-pasta-salad-with-seared-scallops\/","title":{"rendered":"Garlic Lemon Pasta Salad with Seared Scallops"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Yields 4 servings<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1 box pasta, cooked<\/li>\n<li>2-3 crowns broccoli, chopped<\/li>\n<li>4-5 cloves garlic, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 lemon<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li>2-3 Tbsp Parmesan, freshly grated<\/li>\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Directions<\/h2>\n<p>If you are newer to cooking and not used to \u201ctiming\u201d the dish so it comes out at the same time, make the pasta salad FIRST, then do the scallops last.<\/p>\n<h3><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\">Making The Pasta Salad<\/b><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Bring a pot of water to a boil.<\/li>\n<li>Blanch broccoli for 3 minutes. Remove and run cold water over it to stop the cooking process.<\/li>\n<li>In a small saucepan saut\u00e9 garlic, oil, and zest of 1 lemon for 3 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from heat and add the juice of one lemon.<\/li>\n<li>Combine cooked pasta, broccoli, garlic lemon sauce, a few pinches of salt, and cheese in a bowl.
