(Or if you don&#8217;t like either ingredient, simply remove them and the dish still tastes great.)<\/p>\n<h2>Born Fitness Recipes: Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Fitness goal:<\/strong> Muscle gain or fat loss<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allergies:<\/strong>\u00a0soy (from soy sauce), sriracha (for people allergic to hot stuff&#8230;kidding, of course)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paleo friendly:<\/strong> Yes<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to make it vegetarian friendly:<\/strong> Substitute beef for tofu, seitan, tempeh, or lentils<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prep time:<\/strong> 10 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook time: <\/strong>15 minutes<\/p>\n<h2>Stir Fry Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 pound flank steak, sliced 1\/4\u201d thick<\/li>\n<li>3 teaspoons soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger<\/li>\n<li>2 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li>2 stalks of bok choy<\/li>\n<li>2 handfuls spinach<\/li>\n<li>2 medium carrots, thinly sliced<\/li>\n<li>1 stalk broccoli<\/li>\n<li>1 medium onion, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced<\/li>\n<li>8 ounces snow peas<\/li>\n<li>1-2 tablespoons sriracha<\/li>\n<li>Rice (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to make it<\/h2>\n<p>Toss the steak with 2 teaspoons of the soy sauce. Add\u00a0oil in a large nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.<\/p>\n<p>Add the ginger and garlic. Cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. Add the steak and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3-5 minutes. Transfer to a plate and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Return the skillet to the heat, and add the veggies, except for the snow peas.\u00a0Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes, or until the vegetables start to soften. Stir in the snow peas. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Add the reserved steak and sriracha, and the remaining 1 teaspoon soy sauce.
