The magic of the protein shake occurs when you stray outside the typical flavors and recreate drinks you love, but in a healthier, protein-packed fashion. Enter: the high-protein pi\u00f1a colada. Sure, there&#8217;s no alcohol in this version (although you could arguably add it), but it tastes really good and is surprisingly refreshing. -AB<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><b style=\"color: #252525;\">Born Fitness Recipes: High Protein Pi\u00f1a Colada<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredients<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>1 frozen banana<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup frozen pineapple<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup coconut milk<\/li>\n<li>2 cups ice<\/li>\n<li>50 grams protein (~2 scoops vanilla protein powder or you can do 1 scoop for 25 grams)<\/li>\n<li>1.5 tablespoons of shredded, unsweetened coconut (offers a little texture and added flavor)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Directions<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Place all ingredients into the blender.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Blend for 30 seconds or until desired consistency is achieved.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Drink and enjoy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you want a great protein shake, the process isn&#8217;t very hard.
