Though it has cleared most of my doubts about it but just wanted to know what if there is a sudden change in my schedule and I am not able to stick to the plan, what will be its affects on my weight chart.

I drank a lot of water before I began intermittent fasting, but now I drink an incredible amount. I’m usually over 8 glasses for the day by the time I get done with lunch.

You mileage may vary, but even if you don’t drink as much water as I do, I recommend having it at the ready.

He makes the intersting point of how low calorie diets followed for an extended period of time destroy the metabolism Vs fasting that preserves and even slightly enhances it.

He uses the contestants of the biggest loser as an example as most of them gain all the weight back and then some due the the damage done to their metabolism from the low calorie diet.

We are definitely designed for intermittent eating/fasting and it’s only recently that many people have had access to unlimited amounts of food whenever they want it. Prior to that there would have been long periods where there was little or nothing to eat. The programs you discuss here should help to emulate that situation, with the health benefits it brings.

I was interested in your points about coffee helping to suppress appetite and promote autophagy, so I’ll give that a try going forward.

All the best 🙂
